Timeless Beauty

Im April 2025 habe ich mein bisher grösstes Travel-Projekt umgesetzt. Vier Wochen war ich mit der Kamera in Peru unterwegs und habe die Schönheit des Landes festgehalten.

In April 2025 I realised my biggest travel project so far. For four weeks I travelled through Peru with my camera, capturing the beauty of the country.

Für mich war es der erste Schritt in Richtung Dokumentarfilm. Ich wollte den Reise-Aspekt mit einem echten Anspruch verbinden und die Ästhetik von Social Media mit einer Botschaft zusammenbringen. Statt mit düsteren Bildern über Natur und Umwelt zu erzählen, wollte ich über positive Emotionen zeigen, warum es sich lohnt, auf unsere Welt zu achten.

Mein Film zeigt die eindrucksvollen Landschaften, die Menschen vor Ort und zugleich die Herausforderungen, mit denen Peru konfrontiert ist.

Von der Idee bis zur Postproduktion habe ich alles eigenständig realisiert. Es war ein intensives Abenteuer und ein wichtiger Meilenstein auf meinem Weg als Filmemacher. Vor allem war es wegweisend dafür, warum ich heute in Richtung Dokumentarfilm gehe.

For me, it was the first step toward documentary filmmaking. I wanted to combine the travel aspect with a real ambition and bring the aesthetics of social media together with a message. Instead of telling the story through bleak images of nature and the environment, I wanted to use positive emotion to show why it's worth caring for our world.

The film shows Peru's impressive landscapes and the people who live there, and at the same time the challenges the country is facing.

From the idea to post-production, I realised everything on my own. It was an intense adventure and an important milestone on my path as a filmmaker. Above all, it shaped why I am moving toward documentary film today.
